My Story
My name is Mary Chambers
and I bought this shop because I have a
passion for everything unique, fun and quirky.
Razzleberries
originated in Clinton, Iowa where the owner
operated the shop for several years before
moving it to LeClaire in 2006. I bought the
shop in December 2007 after being a surgical
nurse for 30 years. I have been making my own
soap and salve and body care products
for many years and I had always dreamed of
having my own shop! When I saw it was for
sale, I jumped at it! I have continued
providing the same types of gifts, but added
some of my own ideas.
The town of LeClaire and
the LeClaire Chamber of Commerce are very
proactive and all of the shopkeepers are 100%
supportive of each other and involved in the
city activities. I have been met with nothing
but kindness and assistance since I took over.
I look at LeClaire as "boom town" and a little
like a small Galena, but with each shop
offering their own unique items, all different
from each other from shop-to-shop.
At Razzleberries,
I have a lot of home decor for the
wall, as well as vases, lamps, and clocks for
around a room. The gifts vary from candles to
fun greeting cards, baby and pet items. I sell
12 varieties of flavored coffee beans, whole
or ground, including 3 decaffeinated flavors.
Along with the coffee, I have fun travel
coffee mugs and even a line of Harley Davidson
mugs and gifts. We have lots of jewelry,
including an exclusive line of handmade,
one-of-a-kind, designer necklaces from Lara,
who lives in India and Las Vegas. The
semi-precious stones are mined in Jaipur,
India. I also sell purses, purse hooks,
scarves and a nice line of unique kitchen
items.
I am happy to ship any
gift for you when you cannot make it to the
shop. I am also available to stage an open
house for new construction, providing the
decor from Razzleberries. I am
open 10-5 Monday -Saturday and 12-4 on
Sundays. I will stay open later during the big
LeClaire events.
Stop by the shop anytime
and look forward to being surprised by what I
might have to offer in my shop!
